DIY Hair Bow Pattern Description

This DIY hair bow pattern will show you how to make a bow from fabric. This bow can be used as a hair bow, simple bow tie, or anything you like! There are 2 sizes included and this pattern is perfect for beginners.

  • Large bow measures 5in x 3in

  • Small bow measures 3in x 2in

Here are a few ideas of what to make out of this bow pattern.

  • Make a shoe clip with the little bow pattern

  • Make a bow necklace by attaching a chain and clasp

  • Use them as baby bow clips for kids

  • Make a bow tie for your cat or dog

  • Make a brooch by attaching a safety pin

  • 15” x 8” of Fabric – any woven fabric, including cotton, silk, polyester or wool
  • Thread, tailor’s chalk, scissors, needle
  • Printer, 8.5” x 11” or A4 paper, ruler
  • Optional: Barrettes, Clips or Headband
